New Boiler Installation Across Tyne and Wear
Fixed prices from £1,790 including installation and VAT, fitted by local Gas Safe engineers. We cover all five boroughs: Sunderland, Newcastle, Gateshead, South Tyneside and North Tyneside. No call centre, no commission led salespeople, and the price we quote is the price you pay.
Boiler installation across all five boroughs
Tyne and Wear is a small county with wildly different housing stock, and that changes what the right boiler actually is. We install across the lot.
Sunderland and Washington. A mix of interwar terraces, former colliery housing in the west of the city, and Washington's new town estates from the sixties and seventies. Washington in particular has a lot of original system boilers with cylinders that are long overdue replacing, and the pipework layouts in those estates are consistent enough that we usually know what we are walking into.
Newcastle and Gateshead. Tyneside flats are their own problem. The upstairs and downstairs split means flue routing and condensate runs need thinking about properly, and a combi that suits a Gosforth semi is often wrong for a Heaton flat. We have fitted enough of them to price it accurately first time.
North and South Tyneside. Coastal properties in Whitley Bay, Tynemouth and South Shields deal with salt air, which is unkind to external flue terminals and condensate pipework. Positioning matters more here than inland, and it is the sort of thing a national installer working from a postcode lookup will not account for.
How much is a new boiler in Tyne and Wear?
Our fixed prices start at £1,790 including installation and VAT. Most straightforward combi swaps across the county land between £2,200 and £2,800. What moves the number is the output you need, the brand, and how much work the fit involves. Moving the boiler to a different wall, converting from a system to a combi, or replacing tired pipework all add to it.
Fixed means fixed. Once we have surveyed and given you a price, it does not creep up when the work starts.
Which boiler should you go for?
We are approved installers for Worcester Bosch, Vaillant and Baxi, and we fit all three week in week out. Rather than push one brand, we match the boiler to the property. If you want to do some reading first, start with choosing the right boiler, then what size boiler you need and combi versus system boilers.
Not certain you need a replacement at all? Our repair or replace guide will tell you straight, and if a repair is the better answer we will say so.

Boiler finance across Tyne and Wear
A boiler rarely dies at a convenient moment. Finance is available through Ideal4Finance so you can spread the cost over a term that suits you rather than finding the full amount at once.
The rate offered is always provisional and depends on your circumstances, the amount and the term, and finance is subject to status. You can check example monthly repayments before you commit to anything. Full details and a representative example are on our boiler finance page.
Already got a boiler that just needs looking after?
We also cover the rest of it across Tyne and Wear. Annual boiler servicing from £80 plus VAT, boiler repairs with fixed price diagnosis, landlord gas safety certificates for rented property, and power flushing where sludge has built up in the system.
If your radiators are slow to warm, cold at the bottom, or the boiler is banging and kettling, that is usually sludge rather than the boiler itself. Our guides on radiators cold at the bottom, black water when you bleed and boiler kettling explain what is going on.
