Microbore pipework
Some Washington homes use 8mm or 10mm microbore pipework. It can work well with a modern boiler when the system is in suitable condition, but narrow pipework makes system cleanliness and circulation particularly important. Some original systems still have a cylinder and loft tank. Where a combi is suitable, converting can free cupboard space; where hot-water demand is higher, retaining stored hot water with a system boiler may be a better option.

Your quote sets out what is included, and the survey confirms the existing system, proposed boiler, flue, controls and any additional work before the job is booked. The applicable manufacturer warranty depends on the boiler and model selected, and we register the appliance as required. Finance through Ideal4Finance is available subject to status.
On installation day we protect the work area, isolate and remove the old appliance, prepare the heating system, install and commission the new boiler, then set up the controls and show you how to use them. A straightforward swap is often completed in a day; conversions, relocations or system work can take longer, and we tell you beforehand.
