New boiler installed by AR Heating and Gas

Spread the cost of your new boiler

A new boiler rarely arrives at a convenient time. Finance is arranged through Ideal4Finance, so you can spread the cost over a term that suits you rather than paying it all at once. Interest free options are available on selected terms, subject to status.

How boiler finance works

Finance is arranged through Ideal4Finance, not by us. We are an introducer, which means we can point you to them and they handle the lending side. That keeps things simple and means you are dealing with a regulated credit broker rather than an installer trying to arrange credit.

The process runs like this:

  • Get your fixed price installation quote from us first, so you know the amount
  • Use the calculator to see example monthly repayments over different terms
  • Apply online through Ideal4Finance for a decision
  • Once approved, we book your installation in

Applying does not commit you to the installation, and getting a quote from us does not commit you to finance. The two are separate.

Two ways to spread it

Interest free. On selected shorter terms you can pay 0% APR, which means the total you repay is exactly the amount you borrowed and nothing more. A deposit is usually required and the term is shorter, so the monthly payment is higher. If you can carry that payment, it is the cheapest way to spread the cost by a wide margin.

Interest bearing. Longer terms are available with interest applied, which lowers the monthly payment but increases the total you repay overall.

The calculator lets you switch between the two and compare them side by side. It is worth doing before you decide, because the difference over the full term is significant.

What affects the rate you are offered

The rate is always provisional until your application is assessed. It depends on your personal circumstances, how much you are borrowing and over what term. Nobody can promise you a particular rate up front, and you should be wary of anyone who does.

Seeing your figures

Rates and terms change, and the figures that apply to you depend on the amount, the term and your circumstances. Rather than show an illustration here that may be out of date by the time you read it, the Ideal4Finance calculator gives you current figures for your own amount in about a minute.

The calculator shows you, for any amount and term:

  • The amount of credit after your deposit
  • The monthly repayment
  • The total amount repayable
  • The interest paid, which is nil on the interest free option
  • The APR

There are risks involved in taking out a loan and you should ensure you can make all payments on time and in full; failure to do so can lead to financial difficulties and have a negative impact on your credit score.
