Prices for a Gas Safety Certificate depend on where you are in the country, and the more gas appliances you have, the more you pay. A property with a boiler and a gas fire takes longer to check than one with a single appliance, so it costs a bit more. Because the certificate has to be renewed every year, a lot of landlords find it works out cheaper to take out landlord cover that includes the annual Gas Safety Certificate, rather than paying for it as a one off each time.

As a landlord you need an annual Gas Safety Certificate, the CP12, covering the gas appliances in your let property, including any LPG boiler, fire or hob. It is a legal requirement and has to be renewed every twelve months. Without a valid certificate you risk a hefty fine, and the appliances could be unsafe for your tenants. The good news is that with AR Heating and Gas looking after it, your LPG landlord gas safety certificate is booked in, carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer with the LPG qualification on their card, and renewed on time every year, so it is one less thing for you to keep on top of.
