Every LPG service follows the same full strip down process, we do not skim. The casing comes off and the burner comes out so we can inspect, clean and test what is actually happening inside: burner and combustion chamber clean, heat exchanger check for scale or corrosion, combustion analysis on a calibrated analyser, gas pressure tests, and a full check of every safety device. We finish with an operational test through the firing cycle, a stamp in the benchmark book and a digital certificate. Most domestic combi or system boilers take 60 to 90 minutes, with older conventional boilers a little longer.

LPG burns hotter than mains gas, which changes how a boiler ages and is exactly why regular servicing matters more. The higher combustion temperature puts extra stress on the heat exchanger and raises the risk of sooting if the burner is not kept clean, and LPG relies on a pressure regulator that needs checking to keep everything running correctly. On top of that, most manufacturer warranties require an annual service to stay valid, and a well maintained LPG boiler simply runs more efficiently, which keeps your running costs down and makes it far more reliable through the depths of winter.
